People run marathons all the time. No big whoop. They survive. They train for months and clock a lot of hours. They run for hours in pouring rain and with shin splints. On race day they manage to wake up at 0300 hrs, eat and as Sheldon says “evacuate their bowels” on demand. They drive 1.5 hours to their destination and arrive with time to spare when the race starts at 5:30 am. Then they run for over 4 hours on crowded roads, steep hills and swaying bridges (twice) and general San Francisco insanity. And love every minute of it!

26.2 miles. July 29th. Five (5) months to train (started last month) and things are going well despite some shin splint issues. Since I’m quite happy with the half marathon distance and 10Ks, I am not sure what behooved me to sign up.  It must have been those crazy endorphins talking.

Yup. This just about describes it.

After about 36 hours of tinkering and plugging away at my blog and google, I think the el bloggo is back up and running.  And my domain is as fresh as the driven snow. Paid up for a year. And set to auto-renew… heh.

“707″ is my area code. “415″ was the CA penal code for causing a disturbance but I think 707 is fine, if not a little bland. Whatevs.  Go Daddy and friends will not get this one and that’s all that matters.
